Most images are 5 x 6 inches. Most are 72 dpi but can be changed to 300 dpi with photo editing software. It's always good to go smaller than larger with an image to keep the quality.
When photo editing and making a collage sheet... I make a new blank page and set it at 300dpi. This page would be the page I put my images onto and print out. I then take each image I want to print and resize them and set their dpi to 300. I then slide the image onto the blank page to be printed. Then I print them out. This is easy to do with Adobe Photoshop.
