I learned ceramics like an old-school apprentice, at the feet of my grandmother who had a studio in the 1950s and 1960s, and many of the pieces I make are from now-vintage molds that she bought then. My pieces are unique, hand painted, and proudly made in my own home studio. I poured this Madonna using a vintage Duncan mold that my grandmother purchased new in 1959. If you are interested in one painted in different colors than shown, or one glazed in a solid color, please feel free to contact me for a special order. Special orders need a turnaround of 3-4 weeks to allow time for multiple firings.
