The most fun costume party I gave was when I asked every guest to come up with a "name" for their costume, and write it down in a book. When everyone was there, each had two votes (in the form of ticks) they could put on the one they thought had the best costume. And in the end those won a little something, nothing big. But the voting, staging and being voted for was really fun.
