I love their pastel colors spilling over old fences and along the road curbs. But sometimes they creep back into our garden, always into a spot unchosen and usually inconvenient. Their tendrils reach up, like little spiral hands, grasping and pulling themselves ever higher. If only the fancy sweet peas in the seed catalogs would grow like these wild ones do.....
Inspiration is all around us in our garden. In “Tendril”, a coiled sterling spiral weaves around and up into a tendril curled around a leaf stem. Upward and downward, the vine leaves spread.
About 1 3/4” from leaf tip to leaf tip. Hand constructed from sterling silver wire and cast sterling leaves. Soldered for strength and durability. Oxidized to bring out detailing.
This ear cuff design is just about equal in length up and down, so it could be easily worn on either ear. The picture shows how it looks on the left ear.
