On our way back to our hotel we took a different route. We walked past this door that opened into a corridor, that opened into this glorious public garden. I felt like we fell through a rabbit hole and ended up in paradise. We had stumbled upon the gardens at the Petit Palais and spent several magical hours just enjoying the garden. That's were I saw this man and his dog out for a evening walk - they were enjoying the garden also.
