For this model we begin with extra thick borosilicate("Pyrex") tubing, we apply a thin layer of pure silver and adorn with cobalt blue glass. The flower and down stem are reinforced with ruby glass.
To fill your hummingbird feeder, pour nectar(sugar-water) through the trumpet shaped flower opening. this can be done while it is hanging. Because they are designed to minimize bacterial/fungus growth as well as inhibit fermentation, cleaning can be as simple as a warm tap water rinse out. You'll be handling our feeders far less than ordinary feeders and you won't be cleaning them all the time!
