As shown the earrings are oxidized sterling with a white freshwater pearl. The pods dangle from a heavy oxidized sterling French earwire.
I make everything by hand and to order, so custom requests are accepted ~ if you love these earrings but have long dark hair, I'd be happy to create them in shiny silver, and I have other pearl colors available... just send me a message.

Oxidized sterling
I oxidize all of my own wire, so it can vary from blackish to gunmetal grey with brownish or bluish undertones... the process is organic in nature and cannot be totally controlled (I love the surprise nature of this process!). Oxidized patinas are easy to maintain. They get slightly brighter over time with wear, adding a wonderful shine to enhance the dimensional nature of the wire and forms, yet do not mark skin (except in rare cases with rings). To preserve the patina, do not polish or wear while showering or swimming.
