Preparation:
This one of my favorite new designs! To create this new series I first carved out a feather design in a linoleum block and then stamped out images and varying pieces of scrap fabric. Next, I cut out the corresponding shapes and attached them to a cotton band that I salvaged from t-shirt sleeves. The final touch was adding some complimentary embroidery thread across the center to give some added texture.
