This shabby chic little box measures 8 inches high, 8 1/2 inches long and 5 1/4 inches deep. It has chicken wire sides and is lined in Farmdale Crossing in Chocolate Fabric by Alexander Henry. Brown fabric with a red rooster on the front and back side of the lamp, white, blue and green chickens, and hot pink eggs. Wowza!!

As with ALL our birdcage lamps we use previously owned cages and upcycle and repurpose them into fabulous new lighting designs. We also buy our fabric right here on Etsy from other sellers whenever possible! All of our "shades" are hand stitched into the cage.
Birdcage Lamp Care
There are many things to love about owning a unique and one of a kind piece like your birdcage lamp. While these are made to last there are a few things to remember when handling your lamp. This lamp is not a toy or a cage to house a real bird. It is not made to withstand any amount of rough handling and should be treated gently.
Our lamps are wired by hand and you need to be gentle when changing the bulb and carefully hold the socket while screwing and unscrewing the bulb. We recommend only using compact fluorescents where full sized bulbs are needed. These bulbs put out very little heat and will help to keep the hand-stitched fabric in your shade from fading.
Please use the swag hardware kit provided when hanging your lamp. IW is not responsible for any damage done to or by the lamp once it is in your care.
Tip: You can paint the electric cord with your wall paint to help it blend in!
