I created this runner using Scaredy Cat fabrics by Minick and Simpson for Moda. Using this pattern http://www.modabakeshop.com/2009/01/simple-little-runner.html by Camille Roskelley http://www.camilleroskelley.typepad.com/.
Sewing 5 inch squares together in rows to create this festive table runner. A fun decorating addition for the Halloween season. A little ric rack was added at each end to add a little ump of fun. Binding is done out of the black on black polka dot that pulls the quilt together for a clean look.
The back fabric is a great black and orange pumpkin print. It adds a fun look to this already festive quilt!
With cotton batting between the layers, I machine quilted with pumpkins, spiderwebs, witches hats and other Halloween motif. Binding is done with traditional hand stitched around the edges.
This table runner is the perfect size for a table topper, wall quilt, or simply drape it over a chair to add a decoration to your room.
