The sliding knots system is fully adjustable from 14 to 26 inches.
Pendant measures 11 x 37 mm.
Thickness is 1.5mm
Pendant looks the same on both sides, just mirror turned thanks to my open work (ajoure) technique. So yes... it is two-sided. The front side is mirror bright polished and little protruding, whereas the back side is forged by hand and a little concave - an art technique that infuses life and power in this piece of metal .
Simple and stylish...It's the perfect gift for loved ones!
Taekwondo, one of the most widespread types of martial arts in the world, was born in Korea with influences of Chinese and Japanese styles, combined with traditional Korean combat skills. Some will define it as the "Korean art of empty-handed self-defense".
Tae kwon do is characterized by the extensive use of high standing and jump kicks as well as punches and is practiced for sport, self-defense, and spiritual development.
In the simplest translation, the first character means "kick", the second character can mean either "fist" or "punching" the third means "way" or "method". Altogether, you could say this is "Kick Punch Method".
NOTE: This pendant is in modern Korean script Hangul. If you prefer the old Korean Hanja or Japanese Kanji, please look here:
