Materials
The 3mm thick European woolfelt in this bag has a high density which means pilling is reduced to an absolute minimum. It's a beautiful product that can last a life-time.
The rubber I use comes from recycled bicycle innertubes.
There have been infrequent cases of the bags or rubber straps causing marks on light colored clothing. These marks can be removed with regular laundering. I recommend avoiding contact with light colored material as product color may transfer.
Recycled rubber from bicycle innertubes is a strong & sustainable replacement for the traditional leather. And best of all.. it's avaiblable already and waiting for a second life..
Woolfelt is water- and dirt repellant. In case you do need to wash your bag, do so as if you're washing a woolen garment.
