Fuller's Earth Clay is a naturally occurring sedimentary clay composed mainly of alumina, silica, iron oxides, lime, magnesia, and water. It has the incredible ability to remove oils and impurities from the skin and produces a lightening effect on the outer epidermal layer. This is why you may have seen Fuller’s Earth Clay referenced as a “facial beach” or “skin bleaching” clay. This clay is highly recommended to those with acne problems, blemishes, spotting, and people prone to oily skin.
we took this clay and blended it with French Green Clay, ours being actually from France, unlike many "French Green Clays" out there.
French Green Clay is the most commonly used mineral skin clay, and contains
important mineral oxides like magnesium, calcium, potassium, dolomite, silica, manganese, phosphorous, silicon, copper, and selenium.
Green clay is green because of iron oxides and decomposed plant matter.
This means that the natural green tones in this beautiful, luxurious clay are from the very cycles of life that our earth uses to regenerate itself.
the highly micronized, and often fragile molecular state of French Green Clay allows for far greater absorption of impurities, dust, oil, contaminants, and makeup.
lastly, we added ground Organic Lemon Peel, which greatly reduces the risk of skin cancer caused by sun exposure. Lemon peel also provides citrus bioflavonoids that help stabilize capillaries and helps to heal varicose veins!
to use:
take 1 1/2-2 tablespoons of clay, and mix with an equal amount of water--you can mix it in the lid for easy cleanup & no mess! You may add more, if needed.
this will be plenty for your face and neck. Do not forget to apply to your neck, as it tightens and heals your skin, which means it will also tighten any saggy neck skin!
leave on for 15-20 minutes. the clay will stiffen as it dries, making your skin feel tighter. When time is up, simply rinse off.
clay will not harm your drains or stain anything, do not worry.
we recommend splashing a little cold water on your face after rinsing the clay, as the cold water will further tighten those pores.
use no more than once a week.
your clay treatment will come packaged in a pretty glass jar with twist lid. each jar contains 2oz of treatment.
this will leave your skin looking & feeling beautiful, replenished, and renewed.
