This sampler has been finished as a pillow, with black, yellow, and orange plaid wool for borders on the front, and a solid black pillow back with overlapping sides. This makes it easy for pillow forms to be removed for washing or storage. The photo shows it sitting on a dining room chair, to give a good idea of its size. This listing is for the pillow cover ONLY. You can fill it with your own pillow form, buy one near you, or even make one for yourself. For your convenience, I have the pillow form listed as a separate listing. Will ship together, only if you purchase both. This way of mailing, will save postage, and allows you to reuse a pillow form you already have, or purchase one with the type of filling you prefer. :)
The pillow cover was made with prefelted wool, but machine washing and drying is not recommended. If you want to wash it, soaking in cold water with a bit of Woolite, rinse in cold water and dry flat. Lightly press with a dampened cloth over the surface.
I'll be listing a number of Prairie Schooler designs over the next year, as she is my favorite xstitch designer, with the primitive style I love, and designs enough that it never gets boring to work on one...
