Each bird brooch is made from a high quality print of my collage illustration which is then mounted on thick board, carefully cut out with a craft knife, sealed with a layer of paper varnish and then coated in several layers or clear glaze to give it a high gloss finish.
Every brooch is individually signed and dated, and packaged in a gauze bag with a tag as shown.
Approx 7cm / 2 and 3/4" in length (beak to tail).
The original Parakeet was part of my window display at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, summer 2010.
