They are handmade using 1950s and 60s 'Understanding Science' journals.
They are rich in colour and the paper is an uncoated stock. The great thing about the 'Understanding Science' journals is that all the images are hand drawn illustrations (featuring scientific theories, animals and biology, space travel, physics and chemistry).
Your star can be hung or placed as an ornament on a shelf or table. It can stand alone, or with other star companions.
A little background on bec&jude’s paper art. Our objects are made by hand, using vintage materials. We have sourced unused books and maps, musical sheets, journals and other publications and given them a new life. Irregularities are part of vintage paper and hand made objects. They can be delicate and fragile and need to be treated with love and care.
