The step by step tutorial includes clear photos, detailed instructions on shaping and hammering wire, along with lots of wire wrapping techniques.
Examples and further instructions are also given on how the Jewelled Flower design can be varied with different shaped petals.
MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED:
20 gauge soft round wire
24 gauge soft round wire
26 gauge soft round wire
Rondelle or round beads (3-4mm)
(NB. Plated wire is NOT suitable for the hammering and sanding elements of this tutorial)
TOOLS YOU WILL NEED:
Wire cutters
Round nose pliers
Chain nose pliers (2 pairs)
Nylon headed pliers
Flat headed hammer
Bench block
Sanding pads (3 grades)
Polishing cloth
Permanent marker pen
Ruler or measuring tape
Dowel (e.g. round pen)
Mini anvil (optional)
