Was $155 now $108 Ships in time for Christmas - A luxurious iridescent purple/black silk with lavender merino/bamboo fibers. This scarf is perfect for adding pizzazz to your wardrobe year round! Lightweight and great for wearing both inside and out. Nunofelted silk scarf made with merino wool roving and silk. The silk is very difficult to photograph - it is a very deep purple that is like a midnight purple, almost black. It is very rich in color. The lavender wool fibers are blended with bamboo which give a great shimmer and add lots of texture.

This scarf measures approximately 4 x 70".

I make all of my silk and wool scarves using a technique called nuno felting, which is a type of wet felting. Soap, hot water, and agitation bind the fibers together.

I use merino wool and a variety of silks in my scarves.

Each of my pieces are incredibly well felted and are very durable. They are not stiff at all - I work very hard to ensure each piece has a lovely drape. They are meant to be worn often and will hold up over time. I steam mine to "freshen" them up.

Handwash in cool water and gentle soap.
Gently press and let water drain away.
Do not place in washing machine.
Rinse in cold water to remove washing liquid.
Dry flat or hang from center and pull to shape.
