There are no tags, but the tweed fabric feels like 100% wool. The knit sweater portion of the bolero is wool or a wool blend. Both the dress and the jacket are lined with a reddish color nylon material.
The dress closes in the back with a zipper. The jacket has no closures. No maker name is visible on either piece - just the ILGWU union tag.
I am 5'4" and the dress's skirt reaches to mid calf on me. The sleeves of the dress are quite short, almost like little cap sleeves. The jacket has cropped, wrist length sleeves.
All the pieces are in wonderful condition. At some point someone cut off the lining of the skirt, so it has a rough edge and extends only about half the length of the skirt. The lining of the jacket has some fading due to age - this is on the lining only.
There are a few loose threads near the collar of the jacket. It is very minor. Please convo me if you would like to see a photo of this.
Overall all 3 pieces are in gorgeous vintage condition. This is a really great outfit because you can wear it all together or break it up and have 3 new items for your wardrobe.
