Made from a blend of cotton and a smidge of wool, its dark colors are far from somber, with streaks of deep blues, greens, apricots, grays, and browns. It reminds me of muddied jewels. I used the buttons and a high waist to keep a vintage feel to it, but then modernized it with a racer back made from a black cotton jersey and a flirty hem line that makes you feel like twirling. It looks fantastic with other vintage clothes. Cardigans or blazers, chunky knit tights, giant belts, horrible brooches, boots or heels all look smashing with it. Loose in the waist for ultra comfort. Just slide it on and you’ll be ready to ride elephants or capture dragonflies.
