CONSTUCTION OF MY ART DOLLS
*****My dolls are hand-sculpted of papier mache and papier clay over a foil armature.Each one is truly one of a kind.
They sanded many times before painted with acrylics and sealed with matte varnish.
They have a wire armature running through their head and neck for extra support.
Arms and legs are moveable ,joined to the torso by wire or ribbon.
For hair i use various fibers as ,silk ,mohair,viscose.Do not brush or pull on hair because often loose due to the nature of material.
The clothes are hand sewn not removable ,as they are glue in place.
All embellishments (ribbons,laces)are affixed with both thread and glue for security .
********Please note that art dolls are for displaying only and not for playing.
They are very delicate and need to be handled with extreme care.Do not place them near extreme temperatures ,in direct sunlight and moist conditions.
*****My dolls are made by hand so they have little imperfections that adds to their unique personality.
