I had this little gem of an idea years ago and I have been looking for suitable vintage pieces ever since. A necklace that is a secret wishing chair!
I made this necklace from a small sterling silver chair I bought from a dusty old auction room in a nearby village.I have no doubt that people will be scrambling over to talk to you as soon as they see this wee trinket strung around your pretty neck. It reminds me of Alice in Wonderland and the 'eat me' sequence when she gets smaller and smaller and of a little book I used to read when I was little about a wishing chair...
It is a very quirky piece and it a be a real crowd pleaser.I will send it carefully wrapped and boxed.
The chair is made from sterling silver measures 55mm x 25 mm x 25mm and the vintage hallmarekd sterling silver chain measures 60 cms (30cm drop).
