Who's Auguste Rodin?
Like many Famous Seniors, Rodin's work was highly criticized during his lifetime for going against the grain; however, Rodin is now viewed as the founder of modern sculpture.
This print features Rodin in bold black in the foreground set against a bright background of blues, whites, and yellows. The background also features an image of Rodin's most famous work The Thinker in a rich shade of blue. Rodin's words describe his approach to art and remind us that history repeats itself; nothing is truly new, it is simply rediscovered.
