This scarf is knitted vertically from the center out to the sides from provisionally cast-on stitches (instructions included with pattern.) The scalloped rose is placed on a pin and used as a closure for the many versatile ways you can "wrap" this scarf. The scarf pattern is very easy to follow using knit, purl, simple increases (knit front & back) and decreases (knit 2 together) to create the ruching.
Peach scarf in photograph is done in Malabrigo Wool Worsted (2 skeins or 432 yards), which has a gauge of 18 sts per 4 inches on US 9 needles. Also included is pattern for DK weight yarn, specifically Artfibers Alfabeto (about 300 yards) on US 6 needles shown on the red version. There is also an addendum on how to get a more accurate gauge with instructions on how to adjust the pattern to get your desired length.
