~Your dress will not look exactly the same, due to its handmade nature
~This dress is a loose fitting A line shape dress.
The model in the photograph has the following measurements:
Bust: 29.5 inches
Waist: 26.5 inches
Hips: 31 inches
So the dress will look different on other body shapes!
~This dress is not body hugging, but very loose and flowy. (These dresses are sometimes called tent dresses).
~A belt can be added to tie around the back for fit if desired- please convo me with any specifications ;)
~The dress has a Round neck, but I can make it into a deep scoop neck or off the shoulder style if you would prefer (Sleeves can be added for an additional cost)
~You will need to take your body measurements carefully so that I can make your dress the correct size. Often it helps to measure a dress that you own that fits you well. Please ask for help measuring yourself if you are not sure :)
~This dress is tea stained. The tea staining process produces irregular uneven tones.
~Can be made in darker tea/coffee bath to create more of a yellow/brown tone.
~Size pictured is 'medium': But Due to the style of the dress it can fit US size 2-6 (or Australian size 6-10).

Edges have been frayed and then stitched around to prevent further fraying.
I have taken tight weave muslin and spent hours pulling the threads to cause the fabric to gather or ruche. The texture is beautiful and soft, yet it looks like a ragged rock face.
I have sewn over the gathered muslin to secure it.
The muslin is attached to the neckline of the dress and drapes down to create movement.
I have also attached a piece of free form lace- created by sewing over various scraps of fabric- silk, chiffon, vintage lace, calico- between layers of "solvy" (Eco friendly dissolvable plastic).
NOTE: Pictured here- On the back, I have used a section of a sleeve to create a winged effect. Its movement in the wind is truly beautiful...
I do not have any more of the same sleeves I used left now, so the one I use on the back of yours will be different, but still in keeping with the original design. :)
