Please meet "Marcelle".. a French girl... she is hand sculpted in Polymer clay. No molds ever used. Marcelle measures 7.5 inches from her shoes to the top of her head. To the tip of her hat she measure 9" and 10.5 with the stand to the top of her hat. Please see the picture of her with my hand to get an idea of her size.
Marcelle has a ball jointed neck that allows movement in her head. Her head will turn from side to side and up and down.
She has hand painted features with hand applied tiny hair eyelashes. I have created Marcelle's outfit including her hat from fine batiste, antique silk, organza and trims. Her hat and pantaloons are a jewel blue though the fabric appears darker in the pictures.
Shoes are sculpted on with silk bows and brass buckles and she wears real stockings. All costuming is not removable. Her hair is tibetan lamb hair. Marcelle's arms and legs move slightly for dressing purposes only.
Around her neck hangs a tiny gold cross and chain.
I have created Marcelle's base from brass findings, wood and foil trims. If you look closely you can see a tiny brass 'Punch' from the French 'Punch and Judy' show on the front of her base.
Marcelle is removable from her base for shipping purposes.
All signed and dated and comes with a signed card by me.
