This stylish asymmetrical Avant-garde hand felted neck warmer is my original design. It’s made of hand dyed Australian Merino wool and 100% silk. It features an absolutely fantastic palette of Pumpkin Orange and Red , to Sage Green and Brown. I made this scarf using a unique wet-felting process, no scissors or knitting is involved. I designed this item very meticulously for a perfect fit. The neck warmer is very comfortable and easy to put on. It fastens on two snaps inside and instead of the buttons I attached two beautiful natural Hubei Turquoise nuggets for a very unique ,organic look. The neck warmer measures approx. 20.5" (52 cm) in length, the width is approx. from 15" (38cm in front) – 3.5” ( 9cm ) . Well fit for a neck up to 16” ( 40.5cm).

What is Felting?

Felting is an ancient textile art, where manipulating wool, soapy water and rolling, squeezing and throwing, one creates a very special and unique piece...

Care instructions: Hand-wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Do not change the water temperature when you rinse out the soap. Gently squeeze out excess water (avoid wringing). Roll in a towel to absorb excess water and lay flat on a towel to dry, reshape if necessary. This will keep it looking new for a long time.
