Dress up your holiday table or dinner party with this vintage Eames era Hellerware bread platter & butter dish. The etched stylized leaf pattern adorns the tray as well as all sides of the butter. Both pieces are still wearing their original labels, in good condition and completely readable, although showing some wear. Interior glass butter dish is in perfect condition; no nicks, chips or cracks. "Wood" knob could stand to be tightened, but as there is nowhere to insert a screwdriver, we will leave tightening to the new owner.

Butter dish is 9" long, 2.5" high (not including the 1.5" "wood" knob)
Tray is 14" long, and just over 6.5" deep.

I could absolutely see this in one of Shag's paintings, perhaps of a Thanksgiving dinner. It's mod. It's space age. It's Tiki-chic. It's got shiny chrome fins like a '59 Caddy.

And you were just going to put the stick of butter on your table in its wrapper. How plebian.
