I am not sure how to describe this necklace except to say it is one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever made. This is a freeform design with shape and color that were never planned, only executed. The result of my late night artistry (and wee hours of the morning book reading) produced the amazing "Galadriel". The centerpiece of this necklace is asymmetrical and composed of enormous, faceted, flawless Swiss blue topaz rondelles (over 100 carats of these gorgeous rondelles!), faceted Swiss blue onion briolettes, and faceted aquamarine rondelles in various sizes. Together they form a waterfall of diamond-like blue - a blue that graduates from the most amazing true royal blue to the palest ice blue at the tips. The rest of the neckline is composed of flawless (some of the MOST beautiful I have ever seen!) checkerboard-faceted smoky quartz ovals. Hand linked between each extraordinary smoky quart is a faceted London blue topaz round. The "Galadriel" Necklace closes with a gold fill toggle clasp.
Now seriously, could this be any more breathtaking??!
