Who's Dwight D. Eisenhower?
Eisenhower's political and military career spanned World War II, the Cold War, Brown v. Board of Education, and the Space Race. Before his Presidency Eisenhower becamse the first supreme commander of NATO; while in office, Eisenhower was the first President to hire a Chief of Staff, a position that has been filled ever since. A lesser known fact about Eisenhower: he was one of only five people to hold the Five Star General of the Army rank.
This print has a vintage feel to it featuring Ike in the foreground in various shades of brown and green set against a distressed concrete wall. The dseign also features five stars representing Eisenhower's military rank. Eisenhower's words remind us of the distinction between privileges and principles and which should be vauled higher.
