This Micro fork is made from exotic Gabon Ebony Wood and we have inlaid a Silk Oak wood Oyster in the top of the fork. Across the top it is about 1 inches(2.5cm). Its functional prong length is 2 3/8 inches(6cm) and its overall length is 4 3/8 inches(11cm).

These have so many ways to be used! We will be making them out of many woods and offering them singles, doubles or custom orders! Great for small updos, half ups or as decorative pins.This one has an extra special inlay and is quite exotic looking. The Silk oak inlay oyster is lined with sterling silver wire.The supply of silk oak wood that we have is dwindling quickly and we are using every piece as judiciously as we can, this is a true example of nature at her best, and oyster cut from a sliced knot that makes a fabulous starburst grain pattern! IRREPLACEABLE!!!
This is well finished and sealed.The only maintenance required would be cleaning with a soft damp cloth if needed.
We make each of these by hand so we will gladly accomodate requests for shorter tines or to make the tines longer, we will gladly make a custom fork just for you!

We use a pattern so that you know if you order another it will be very close to the same shape. We also do custom embellishing , if you would like a different stone or something carved.An addtional fee may apply.

How to care for your wooden hair toys!
1. Do not store them in the sun ,that includes in the car or by a window. But wear them in the sun and be happy!
2. Do not drop them!
3. Do not use them as a screwdriver or paint can opener!
4.They are natural wood, they CAN break…put as little sideways pressure as possible on them. WE do take hair pressures into account and under normal hair updos they should be fine, including lots of hair!
5.Do not let the dog have it!;0)
6.Even though they are sealed and would weather rain ,do not swim or shower in them!
7.ENJOY!
If your hair toy from us breaks for seemingly no reason, please send the parts back and if it is not salvageable we will replace it, you just pay the shipping. If you drop or break it we will salvage it for a small fee or give a discount on a new one if it is not salvageable. We understand that life, kids, pets, and accidents happen! (salvageable would be, for example, to turn a broken 3 tine fork into a 2 tine and a single stick. We do not feel that a glue-up would be an acceptable way to save a fork.)
