Unless otherwise noted, the majority of my Bookshelves are made from average size hardcover books and when properly installed, can easily support 5 pounds.
Please realize that the books I use come from a variety of sources and most will show some wear or markings on the covers - please use the photo as an indicator of overall condition of the book's covers.
