A beautiful hand beaded 6" sphere, I wanted to challenge myself and bead embroider something unusual. I though a crystal ball would be cool but instead of crystal I used a 6" foam ball. This piece took me many months to complete and balance perfectly so that it doesn't roll but rest perfectly on a wooden stand. My inspiration was to embroider what maybe a fortune teller might see in her crystal ball. No side is the same so as you turn it around you will see all kinds of different treasures from bone whales to wooden fish and frogs sailing in an old miniature tea cup, a hand carved skull, a wooden skull, butterfly wings, vintage buttons and oh so much more. I finished the top off with a beautiful PMC (Precious Metal Clay) dragonfly, this dragonfly was one I found along the road in perfect condition it took many coats of PMC in the slip form and than fired in a kiln what remains is a beautiful silver dragonfly.
