This 124 year old Post Office box door is cast bronze made by the Keyless Lock Company. This door has a rare beveled glass window.
This is a very collectible item. This door is believed to be one of the first combination lock doors to be used by the post office.
The brass door has been restored to like new condition by me. The door is in working condition with a dual dial combination lock. The combination is included.
The wooden case is made of Oak with a clear satin finish and a solid Brass coin slot on top. The date sticker on the glass window is removable. Most people put it on the bottom or the inside of the bank so they will know the date in the future.
The bank measures 5" by 4" by 6 1/2" with felt pads on the bottom and is signed.
Included with the bank is a combination instruction card and Historical information on the rear of a reproduction 1931 Post Office Box Rental notice.
