The outside of the bag is a 100% cotton print. The bag is lined with a waterproof PUL (polyurethane laminated knit - used commonly in cloth diaper making), and a polyester thread is used for increased strength and durability.
Each bag also has a 1/2" x 6" hook and loop tape closure, ensuring the goodies you pack won't spill out or leave a trail of crumbs.
When you're done using a bag, just shake out the crumbs, or if it gets messy (as ours do after a peanut butter and jelly sandwich), just toss it in the washer and line dry.

Why I love these bags:
As a mom of two young boys, I'm always bringing snacks with us whenever we leave the house (cookies always seem to help a crying baby!). I found myself using zip-style plastic baggies for everything, and felt guilty whenever I tossed one.
