Originally a custom order for a speech therapist who wanted a set of animals made to encourage 'first animal sounds' from her young clients :)
Have you ever noticed how little kids LOVE these 3 things - balls, baby animals and putting things in and out of containers? Well, mine do! That's what inspired this fun sensory learning toy!
These little guys are so sweet and small (approx 2" diameter each).
Perfectly plump and round! The bluebird, the cat, the bee, the frog, the dog and the pig will delight your little ones and encourage them to make the appropriate animal sounds!
Made from pure merino/mohair wool blend and needle felted into place, these balls are super soft and sturdy, lightweight and warm to the touch.
Needle felting is a very labor intensive process which involves taking a sharp, barbed needle and poking loose fibers thousands of times until the desired form is achieved.
They come in their own brand new cardboard egg carton with an 'All Natural' sticker and a birdie stamp on the top.
So cute for any occasion!
Please note that egg cartons will not be allowed past Australian customs. I can ship the miniature animals separately with all the bits and pieces to make your own egg carton look cute!
