Who's Julius Caesar?
Julius Caesar was a general in the Roman army and later became Consul (highest elected office) of the Roman Republic. Caesar played a strong role in transforming the Roman Republic into the Roman Empire. While Caesar brought extensive reform to Roman society, he was ultimately assasinated on the Ides of March by a group of senators with differing views of what Rome should be.
This multi-colored design features a strong image of Caesar in the foreground peering out from a grey and yellow triangle filled concrete textured background. Caesar's famous words veni, vidi, vici (I came, I saw, I conquered) were spoken after defeating Pharnaces II of Pontus in modern day Turkey.
