Baste Pincushion

Do you use pins to baste your quilts? This fun pincushion measures approximately 5" square. The word "BASTE" is silk screened onto a prewashed Essex 55% Linen 45% Cotton Blend using orchid silk screen ink that was heat set following the manufacturer's directions. The remainder of the pincushion is pieced from 100% cottons featuring Mrs. Sew & Sew Black Safety First Pins by Dan Morris for RJR Fabrics (backed in the safety pin material as well). The front is backed with cotton batting and quilted in a black accent thread. The pincushion is stuffed with fiberfill. This would make a fun gift for a quilter!
