The Mayans believed that the Quetzal bird was a symbol of creation and the creator. This is a small but powerful pendant.

Made from vegetable tanned leather, hand stamped and stained. The leather is attached to a braided cotton cord accented with peyote stitched seed beads.

The cord is long enough so that it can slip over your head. Measures roughly 32 inches so that it will hang roughly at belly button level, the leather portion measures 1.5 by 1 inches in size.
