Fly Me Away Steampunk and Neo Victorian inspired necklace is hand assembled with a repurposed vintage watch movement securely attached to an antiqued gold tone lace edged setting. Visible on the watch movement are the original ruby red jewels. Perched on top of the watch movement is a bird in flight. The pendant hangs from a floral drop and is attached to cable link chain measuring approximately 18" (46cm) in length that closes securely with a lobster style clasp. The pendant measures approximately 2" (5cm) long from the top of the floral drop to the bottom of the lace edge setting and approximately 7/8" (2.2cm) in width. The antiqued gold tone components used in the making and design of this piece are quality nickel and lead free making them comfortable to wear for most sensitive skin types.

Steampunk, Neo Victorian fashion must haves!

The watch movement has been inspected by several watchmakers to verify that it can no longer be repaired to serve its original purpose. Each vintage repurposed component has been carefully cleaned by hand to remove any soil or oils from its past life being careful not to remove all of the gorgeous time aged patina.

You get the piece you see in the picture...no waiting for another piece to be made that will be slightly different!
