Judaica Mixed Media Collage Chanukah Party

Playful and colorful: all the elements for a great Chanukah party are contained in this original collagework. If you try hard you can smell the sufganiyot (doughnuts)just made piled high on the platter. Festive banners announce the party in style. Dreidels, gelt and gifts wait patiently while the candles burn and tell the great miracle of chanukah.

This original artwork constructed on canvas upon a student's hebrew grammer workbook pages is made of a collection of collage papers. Some paste paper, watercolored, marbelized, hand stamped - some acquired over the years - used to recreate the scene of 30 some odd years ago of Chanukah at my grandparents house with all my wonderful family coming from near and far!
