I decoupaged a small wooden jewelry box and filled with lots of wonderful little treasures. The top and insides are decoupaged with actual pages from a thrifted copy of The Spiderwick Chronicles.
The top of the box has a map of the Spiderwick Estate, and the inside has a letter from the DiTerlizzi and Black.
I've filled Thimbletack's treasure chest with bits and pieces from the book and board game. I laminated the paper pieces to make them very sturdy. I cut out some of the black and white illustrations from the book and rolled them into little scrolls and tied a ribbon around each one. You'll also find fun trinkets, and bits of yarn, buttons, and spools and notions.
Many fun little things a house brownie would like to collect!
This will make a wonderful gift for a Spiderwick fan or collector.
The box is made of wood. It measures about 5 x 4 x 2 inches.
