Each bird brooch is made from a high quality print of my collage illustration which is then mounted on thick board, carefully cut out with a craft knife, sealed with a layer of paper varnish and then coated in several layers or clear glaze to give it a high gloss finish.
Every bird brooch is individually signed and dated.
Approx 9cm / 3 and 1/2" in length (beak to tail).
The original Toucan was part of my window display at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, summer 2010.
