Who doesn't love a good cup of tea? Be it a strong sweet black, one with a lashing of milk or a relaxing herbal, I have one beside me most of the day.
So inspired by my love of a well infused beverage, I give you my teapot brooch. Modelled on the lovely cast iron teapots used in Japan in the hypnotic tea ceremonies that I'd watch when I lived over there.
The brooch has been made from sustainable growth bamboo, laser cut and hand assembled and patterned with carefully inserted vintage kimono fabric. Each teapot is a little different, some are totally unique.
At 5 x 5.5 cm (2 x 2 and a bit inches) it's bold enough to be noticed but not too large to be considered "out there".
The teapot comes carefully nestled in a custom made Kimono Reincarnate box (like the one in the last picture).
The teapot will be made to order, so the fabric placement may be a little different from in the photo. Please allow about a week before the teapot is sent. If you need it in a hurry, please let me know.
Give it as a present to any lover of tea or kimono fabrics or wear it yourself and inspire those around you to put the kettle on and make you a good cup of tea, just the way you like it.
