All three pieces are decorated with ruffles of the same material. The hat features ruffles on the side. The fingerless gloves are cut from the sleeves with ruffles on the side of the hand and arm. Thumb hole and inside edges are serged. The scarf is an infinity scarf (a full circle) and can be worn draped around the neck once like a cowl, or wrapped twice for snug warmth.
This material is stretchy, and will accommodate nearly all sizes of heads, arms, necks, and hairstyles. It’s great for everybody!
Garment Measurements, UNstretched, Lying Flat
1. Ear warmer: 14” circumference, 3.5" wide
2. Scarf: 5” wide, 18” around
3. Fingerless Gloves: 8.5” long, 4-5” around
Recommended care: Hand wash cold or wash in gentle cycle with light colors. Hang or lay flat to dry. This set is likely to do very well in the dryer, but minimizing dryer use will always maximize the life of a garment.
My Reclaimed Materials: The materials I use are always in excellent condition. I choose to use recycled materials in many of my handmade items for a few reasons: first, to pass along the saving to you; and to maximize the variety of fabric or other materials available to me in my rural locality.
