In the tradition of many early American silhouette artists, my silhouettes are cut freehand-- no shadows, no tracing, no Photoshop-- just a keen eye and terribly sharp little scissors.
How it works:
You send me an image or two taken from the side against a neutral background from about 4 feet away. Be sure to include head and shoulders with mouth closed in a natural position. I cut your profile portrait from lovely matte French black silhouette paper and send you a proof. Once you are happy with the cutting, it's mounted and sent your way. Frame is not included.
For multiple copies, enlargements, or other special considerations, please drop me a note and we can talk about the details and pricing for your request. Files are kept for every portrait in case you'd like to order additional copies at $10 each.
