It was the summer I read Silent Spring for the first time, per my mother's recommendation.
I also bought a wonderful handmade bar of soap, full of cinnamon and other scents, and I had a great awakening into the natural world that summer.
This soap was born from that euphoric memory of that summer and that soap.
Our Earthtone soap is made in two batches. One side is smooth with cinnamon and orange essential oils and ground cinnamon.
The other side has ground rose for a mild exfoliating bar scented with ylang ylang and bergamot.
This really is two beautifully scented bars in one.
To prolong the life of your handmade soap keep it out of direct steam of water and let it dry completely between uses.
