Plump green onyx 13mm faceted heart briolettes are topped with clusters of cascading gemstones in bright tropical colors in these dramatic earrings. Bright green chrome diopside, lemon lime peridot, orange carnelian, ruby red quartz, and pink topaz gems sparkle and tumble above the green onyx briolettes. The smaller gems are wrapped on vermeil (gold-plated sterling silver) beaded headpins, and they are attached to vermeil chain links. The earrings dangle 25mm (1") from vermeil ear wires. The earrings measure 42mm (1 11/16") from the top of the ear wires. These earrings remind me of the rain forest with its many shades of green leaves and bright tropical color flowers.
