Dinosaur Kale is an 18th century Italian heirloom variety also known as Lacinato. The dark blue - green leaves of this extremely winter–hardy variety become sweeter after a hard frost and it can tolerate sub zero temperatures. Tender & delicious when stir–fried or steamed. Perfect for fall planting.

Sow kale in late summer for a fall harvest or early spring for summer harvest. Sow seeds ½" deep, allowing 1' between plants and 2' between rows. Frequent watering; do not let soil dry out. Sun.
