No. 14, Alice Spies Two Lovebirds

Wandering through the woods one day, Alice spied the most beautiful bird, all yellow-breasted with a blue head. She wanted to call out "Good morning, pretty bird!" but before she could, the bird flew off... an even prettier bird had been singing a love song to her. A song she clearly couldn't resist!
* Top Tier: Vintage blue Mitterteich plate with colorful birds, leaves, flowers & berries, a dreamy aqua/turquoise gradient & gold gilt border & flowers from Germany, nearly 7 1/2"
* Bottom Tier: Vintage Royal Doulton fine bone china plate in Melrose pattern with white center, robin's egg blue rim & gold gilt detail of swirls, flowers & stars, 10 1/2"

About High Tea for Alice: Far from rummage sale cast-offs, the pieces in our stands are individually scouted. None have chips, cracks, or crazing. Some are gently used vintage; all are immaculately lovely. It takes months to find just the right pieces for 1 stand. We will never duplicate your combination.
